Welcome to the Friends of the NCR Trail
The NCR/Torrey Brown Trail is a scenic walking, cycling, and equestrian trail situated on the former route of the Northern Central Railroad. Over ½ million visitors each year enjoy the beauty and nature of the NCR Trail, which reaches for 20 miles from Cockeysville, MD, north of Baltimore, crosses the Mason-Dixon Line, and continues on to York, PA.

The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley is proud to partner with the Maryland State Forest and Park Service to bring water facilities to the NCR/Torrey Brown Trail.  We are committed to providing a safe, natural and pleasant resting place for trail users - not disturbing or detracting from any historical value of the area - thus creating a comforting sense of community along this beautiful stretch of trail.
